1.15KM BEAM THROW.
Using the latest optic simulation modeling, the reflector geometry was tweaked over and over again to achieve a highly-functional beam pattern. An astonishing beam throw coupled with a homogeneous wide beam will have you insist on driving only when the sun's down.

Forget folded steel brackets, it's all yesterday's news. The Type-XPRO is all about pushing boundaries. The bracket system is a 10mm thick high-pressure die-cast aluminum marvel of engineering. Our Type-XPRO bracket was designed to withstand extreme and prolonged corrugations time and time again. True to STEDI's signature design principles, we?ve added brushed stainless steel shoulder plates, which will look just as comfortable on a tricked-out 70 series as it will be mounted to a PRO race buggy.

Cutting edge performance starts with cutting edge LED technology. To achieve genuine category-leading performance our Type-X Pro is equipped with 37 x Oslon High-Flux LEDs, selected for having the #1 highest lumen density per mm2 of any other comparable LED on the market. Compared to the two other leading spotlights brands similar offerings, the LEDs used in Type-X PRO have + 23% and +42% higher lumen density per mm2 in comparison. The net result is higher net light volume and unrivaled beam throw.
A WOLF IN WOLFS CLOTHING
The hard-coated optical grade lens shares the same DNA as ballistic glass making it virtually indestructible. A UV stabiliser has also been added to ensure our lenses truly withstand the test of time with no discolouring or UV degradation. This has allowed us to do away with any secondary lens covers or filters which are known to significantly reduce light transmission.
ICONIC PERFORMANCE
Using the latest optic simulation modeling, the reflector geometry was tweaked over and over again to achieve a highly usable beam pattern. No doubt the attention grabber is the unrelenting beam distance of 1,155m (tested in pairs, combo beam), however, the real strength of our Type-X PRO is in mid to long light distribution that really sets it apart.
Our key focus was on driver confidence, by increasing the beam throw the driver has longer analysis time. We maximised driver comfort by smoothing out the beam eliminating shadows. We reduced the light wasted in unimportant zones like treetops and immediately in front of the vehicle. The result is a homogeneous, unrelenting beam that will support you well in any adventure.
Unlike our competitors, each Type-X PRO lamp has 6 built-in flood reflectors for improved light distribution out into the road shoulders. The built-in wide-beam reflector eliminates the need to add any wide beam covers, which are not only less efficient at distributing light, covers also withhold valuable light transmission.

Type x driving lights
By: Craig on 21 April 2017If you've ever wondered when it will be possible to combine the throw of hid with the instant light and spread of led then look no further than these beasties. These lights significantly outperform my previous combination of 2x 55w genuine 9" hid and genuine 22" cree lightbar in every area. Finally I don't have to wait for the hid warmup and peer over my lightbar for obstacles when offroad. The natural colour rendering of the osrams is superb, and the throw has to be seen to be believed - the photo simply does not do justice to the incredible penetration and near perfect pattern of these lights. Add to that the impeccable build quality, solid stainless brackets and capable wiring loom with low voltage drop, and they really are a standalone lighting solution for every situation. I had previously tried another cheaper, similar looking product from a well known 4wd warehouse, yes they were 'bright' but not anywhere in the same league for colour and penetration, and the road dazzle made them fatiguing on my eyes. For the additional money these are a huge step up in quality, performance and efficiency, you won't be disappointed! My only gripe is that the supplied 6x stainless mounting bolts are too long and need to be cut to fit an ARB bar - how about some 25-30mm ones? Top product, top service. Get some.

By: Pauly on 21 April 2017My goodness these are magnificent. The only way to really appreciate just how good these are is to drive with them. From the moment I opened the packaging, to the minute I held the lights in my hands it was clear that these lights were designed with no detail left to chance. I thought they looks amazing in the photos, but even better when your holding them. I've read all the reviews about Stedi and knew you guys are the ducks nuts, and now i see exactly why. Other sellers should take a leaf out of Stedi's book, quality product, outstanding performance, great customer service, and fair prices. thanks lads you guys have a customer for life.

Turns night into day!!

Pure white light and a beam that seems to go forever. Easy to install and well worth the price. Awsome lights!!!! Also fast delivery. 1 week from eastern states to WA
