Boostec Long Range Fuel Tank Calibrator - Gen 2 3.0L Turbo Diesel Facelift 2017-07/2020

This Boostec Fuel tank calibrator fits inline with your fuel sender harness with the supplied parts.

It requires that you snip 2 wires and fit it in-line with position sensor wiring.

The supplied quick-connect wire crimps allow you to fit this back to stock, within seconds if it ever needs to be removed.

Fitting time is approx. 5-15 minutes.

How to use:

• With all the toggle switches off, the effective fuel level becomes zero.
• To use it in normal mode (with no effect on fuel level) you select: HI 1
• The high level toggles will adjust the point of where the fuel level will begin to drop from full on your dash board.
• The low level toggles adjust when the low level bars of your fuel level are displayed on your dash board.
• In most cases you will select a Hi : 3 / Lo : 2 combination to essentially give you more middle band indication of the fuel level.
• It is recommended that you only change the LOW level settings once the vehicle warning lamp becomes active for low fuel. Usually you would like it to be set so the low fuel warning JUST disappears, giving you less false information about how little range you have left. Please change the LO settings with caution initially as you could run out of fuel if you change it too aggressively!
• It is recommended that you measure at the bowser how many effective LITRES the warning comes on at so you know what your new settings are.
• If you do not wish to alter the LO warning levels, you should only adjust the HI settings.
