MSA 4X4 Towing Mirror Set - Volkswagen Amarok 2009-03/2023

MSA 4X4’s Patented Towing Mirrors feature a large single mirror that pivots on an extremely heavy-duty extension slide, that allows the mirror to be returned to its normal “non-towing” position, to avoid the extended mirrors permanently protruding way off the sides of the vehicle!

MSA 4X4 think differently and believe that ‘towing’ mirrors is a restrictive description for an 'all-round driving and towing mirror’ like ours. Traditional ‘Towing mirrors’ are great for towing, but not great for daily driving.

MSA 4X4’s all-new Towing Mirrors were designed specifically so that, when not towing, they still look proportionate to the size and styling of the vehicle. The unique design features a large single mirror that pivots on an extremely heavy-duty extension slide, that allows the mirror to be returned to its normal “non-towing” position to avoid the extended mirrors permanently protruding way off the sides of the vehicle.

The large single mirror lens creates less confusion and enhanced safety while driving. The four, easily adjustable positions, provide greater vision, with less vibration to any towing situation, while maintaining ADR compliance and safety. When the mirror is rotated into the horizontal position, the mirror’s actuator automatically adapts, allowing for standard adjustments (up, down, side to side) from the vehicle’s standard mirror controller (requires "Electric Adjustment" option to be selected).

Please compare our listed features with your standard vehicle mirror to understand what features you may be missing in your new Clearview mirror.  If Powerfold, Camera Provision or auto reverse-dip functionality is not specified in our mirror description, then we do not have it available for your model at this time.

Towing mirror features are only available for vehicles with those pre-existing features as standard (ie heat, powerfold, blind spot monitoring etc) – the mirror alone cannot add new functionality to the vehicle.

To remain ADR compliant, if your standard mirrors have Indicators or Blind Spot Monitoring functionality in them, then your towing mirrors also need to have these features.

It is recommended that the replacement mirrors feature ALL available features in the replacement MSA 4X4 Mirror. For example, if your factory mirrors have a heat function, you should purchase the replacement set with heat also.
