It's no secret that off-road tracks and long-haul journeys can be particularly hard on your vehicle's transmission, especially when towing, driving low-range in sand or mud, or following an aftermarket performance tune. Our Automatic Transmission Cooler Kit is designed to keep your operating temperatures down, extending the longevity of both your lubricant and transmission. 

Our kit includes a Tru-Cool LPD Auto Trans Cooler core, which features 30% more cooling and 15 times less flow restriction than traditional tube and fin design.

HOW THE COLD BYPASS WORKS: 

The optimum operating temperatures for Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) are between 75-95°C. When ATF is cold, it is more viscous.

Tru-Cool LPD Transmission Coolers have a uniquely cold weather passive bypass that allows the thicker ATF (below 82°C) to flow more efficiently through the cooler at the top of the system. As operating temperatures increase, ATF becomes hotter and thinner. It is then directed through the core, where it is cooled. The result: longer life for your transmission.
